With a production area of 40,000 square metres, around 150 employees and the processing of approximately 30,000 tonnes of board per year, Coburger Kartonagen is one of the leading and most modern packaging manufacturers in Germany and Europe.

Our comprehensive production programme and extensive in-house manufacturing depth enable us to supply customers across virtually all sectors of industry.

Our customers benefit from a highly modern machinery fleet, our own warehouse logistics with approximately 20,000 pallet spaces, and flexible production capacities enabling reliable just-in-time delivery.

Technology and Machinery

Our production facilities cover an area of 40,000 square metres. Across several production halls and laboratories, our equipment includes CAD-based machinery, a particularly high-performance, ultra-modern six-colour printing press with coating unit and cold-foil module, various die-cutting and laminating systems, a micro-flute corrugating machine, packing robots and more.

Professional and Certified Quality

The company has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1995. In addition, we have met the requirements of the HACCP system for many years. Building on this, a hygiene management system in accordance with HACCP and BRC/IoP was implemented in 2009.

As part of our sustainability strategy covering environmental, social and economic responsibility, we successfully obtained FSC certification in 2012.

Our commitment to resource-efficient operations was further strengthened in early 2013 with the successful certification of an energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001.
